Truth existed before any
revelation in written form was made. It therefore does not depend on revelation
for its truthfulness. To the same end, it may be said that some truths, though
recorded and in no way opposed to reason, are not demonstrable by reason. If,
as has been proved, revelation is infinitely true, it follows that, should
reason advance a contradiction to revelation, reason is at fault.
